Hungries “B.O.B.” for Fond du Lac mtg. 9/11/07
Ps 16 Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup….
The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places…
I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand
I shall not be moved….
You will show me the path of life; in Your Presence is fullness of joy!
At Your Right Hand are pleasures forevermore!
My right hand to His right hand…
I’m not able to walk forward, only backward ~ sightless, needing complete trust in Him.
So I practice this for weeks ~ this Psalm 16 right hand to right hand ~ no worries at all, thinking I’m finally getting it right ~ when He begins to walk in a circle, which causes me to follow in an opposite circle ~ like a dance ~ swirling around each other as we go.
Confused, I ask “Why are You showing me this particular path of life?”
He answered, “This path is how I create whirlwinds of Glory, the B.O.B. in you.”
“B.O.B.” Beyond Our Bounds! The mighty “O” of God!
(Our rooster, Bob. He cares not about his size and ability. A banty, so tiny; so cocky! Bob.)
Pala ~ to be marvelous, be extraordinary, be beyond the bounds of human power to do!
Gen 18:14 is anything too (B.O.B.) hard for the Lord?
Ps 118:23 This is the Lord’s doing. It is marvelous (B.O.B.) in our eyes.
Ps 9:1 I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart. I will show forth all Your
marvelous works! ~ B.O.B. (Beyond Our Bounds)
9/05 ~ swirling ocean currents. The globe is covered with swirling currents.
To swirl; to whirl, move with whirling motion ~ beginnings of a whirl wind.
Angels released ~ Grit and Glory. They create a partnership between them,
moving around me in a whirling motion, like a whirlwind of B.O.B. they move.
Ps 77:18 Your thunder was heard in the whirlwind, Your lightning lit up the world; the earth trembled and quaked. Your path (Here is His path of life again) led through the sea, Your way through the mighty waters, though Your footprints were not seen.
To live the BOBway, I may not “see”or come into agreement with the various avenues God chooses ~ I must not criticize them. Each one is in His sight and each is precious to Him.
Gideon’s, TZM, Evangelism Explosion, Toby Mac, Brother Andrew, Vacation Bible Schools, Heidi Baker, Billy Graham, WYAM, Dr James Dobson, Barlow Girls, Voice of the Martyrs, Campus Crusade for Christ, God TV, Conferences… are all expressions of His Path.
The BOBway is this John 7:38 If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, “Streams of living water will flow from within him.”
It is up to Father how that stream of living water looks.
We need to be free enough, confident enough, to let it flow from each person.
The full measure of Jesus’ joy in us! (John 17:13)
The swirling whirling of God! Never ceasing but always increasing ~ the BOBway :^)
To dictate to our Rooster would be a ridicules waste of time.
He would never dream of hearing you!
To dictate to someone else’s “stream of living water” is that plus a serious crime.
To judge what we do not know, is a trait unworthy of the measure of joy we hold.
Must we, His body, continually fight ourself?
Do we truly have AIDS, the terrible wasting disease?
Do we need to always reject those who stand in a stream different than our own?
Do we become violent over issues like tongues or water baptism?
Does each Kingdom Swirl have to compliment our own to be valid?
To Swirl ~ move with whirling motions rapidly in a circular manner. Orbit :^)
Gyrate, spin fast, rotate, an eddy, a tumult, an uproar, a fast round of parties!
Whirligig ~ child’s toy that whirls and spins, a merry-go-round
Whirlpool ~ water moving in rapid violent whirling motions, forming a vacuum at the center
of the circle into which floating objects are drawn!!
Whirlwind ~ a current of air whirling violently in spiral form and having forward motion
THE CURRENT OF GOD
To run, to be in progress, pass from hand to hand or circulate.
A body of water, air or electricity flowing in a definite direction.
Currency (as in we are the Kingdom currency of God!)
Think in terms of Kingdom Currency ~
Electric Current ~
Flow of negative or positive electric charges. (Out of our mouth flows currents)
Flows most easily through conductors. (Conductors are those willing to obey)
The number of “free” electrons determine how well it flows. (More is better!)
Electric generators (Dynamos) are all sizes for all different purposes. (God loves variety)
2 kinds of generators
DC ~ Direct Current produce electric current that always flows in the same direction.
AC ~ Alternating Current produce electric current that reverses direction many times
each second.
Generators do not create energy. (God creates energy)
They change mechanical energy into electrical energy. (People can cooperate with God)
Each dynamo (generator) must have an engine or turbine to drive it.
These engines are called “prime movers”.
To obtain more electric energy, prime mover must provide more mechanical energy.
Simplistic principles for generating energy.
AC Dynamo.
1) U-shaped magnet has one leg north and the other south.
Creates a magnetic field which has lines of force.. magnetic force.. between them.
The stronger the magnet, the greater the number of lines of force.
2) Loop of wire inside U-shaped magnet.
Rotate the loop and it “cuts” the lines of force ~ this induces or generates electricity.
It also produces a magnetic field around the wire! It become stronger and harder to rotate and the prime mover then must provide more mechanical energy to get ‘er done.
AC generators are usually equipped with a small auxiliary generator called an “exciter”.
There are Synchronous generators, (more than one person needed)
There are Single-phase generators, (those who flow in one spiritual dimension)
There are 3-phase generators, (those who flow in all 3!)
There are electrical power plants! (AC generators)
They use a simple electromagnetic devise called a “transformer” to get increased voltage.
Voltage can be increased by 1) increased strength of magnetic field
2) increased speed of loop rotation
3) increased number of loops that cut magnetic field
There are things that limit or destroy energy efficiency.
Poor conductors will resist the flow.
Weak magnets, weak loops, slow speed or no speed, small number of “free” electrons..
These things bring resistance and resistance changes the electric energy into “heat”.
(Have you ever experienced the HEAT of resistance?)
Dynamos must be “cooled” to reduce heat,
either by blowing air or moving cool water past them. (Holy Spirit is needed!)
THE CURRENT OF GOD ~ Oceanic.
There is a bit of “ocean” inside each of us!
Adults contain about 19 quarts of salt water… composed very similar to seawater. :^)
Ocean currents run through the sea like giant rivers, always moving.
There are 2 types of currents ~ (like 2 kinds of generators)
1) Wind-driven Circulation
Blowing on ocean surface, generally horizontal currents~ parallel to earth’s surface.
Only affects upper water (300 – 600 feet down) but the pull of this surface water
may extend to depths of 3,300 feet or more. (Don’t despise small beginnings!)
Wind-driven currents move in enormous circular patterns called gyres (the “O” of God?)
Clockwise in Northern Hemisphere and counter-clockwise in Southern.
“Upwelling” when winds cause surface waters near land to more offshore.
Upwelling of deeper water provides rich nutrients for growth!
“Downwelling” sinking… lack nutrients and support little life.
Winds and earthquakes create waves on the surface.
Gravity, pulling from the moon and sun cause daily tides.
2) Thermohaline Circulation
Great vertical currents from surface to ocean bottom and back again.
Due to differences in water temperature and salinity.
Cold, saltier water sinks to bottom and spreads out
Gather warmth and release salt to rise again.
The BOBway ~
Temperature ~ are we cold or hot? Luke warm gets us vomited out of His mouth.
Salinity ~ do we carry a load? (of salt?) or have we lost our saltiness and become useless?
Both Ocean Circulations are like the great big “O” of God!
