Realms 11/06/07
Intriguing me always,
On the 2nd day… God made the firmament (the expanse)
and separated the waters which were under the expanse
from the waters which were above the expanse.

His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to His eternal purpose in Christ Jesus.
Eph 1: 3
… He.. has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus…
HEAVENS “samayim” sky; realm of the sky.
1) Realm where the birds fly. (location of visions)
Lies between heaven and earth.
1 Chronicles 21:16
David lifted up his eyes and saw the angel of the Lord standing between earth and the heavens, having a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem.
2) Realm of the storehouse. Dt 28:12
The Lord shall open to you His good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain.. and to bless all the work of your hands (He shall make you the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath..)
frost ~ Job 38:29 snow ~ Isaiah 55:10 Physical list but also occurs in the spiritual
fire ~ Gen 19:24 dust ~ Dt 28:24 Nature is beginning to give us big clues
Hail ~ Josh 10:11 rain ~ Gen 8:2 about how things are in the spiritual realm.
3) Realm of the sun, moon and stars. (Gen 1:14)
Is stretched out like a curtain ~ Ps 104:2
Will be rolled up like a scroll ~ Isaiah 34:4
4) Realm of God’s dwelling place.
He sits in the heavens and laughs! Ps 2:4, Dt 4:39
It is His holy habitation. Dt 26:15, Mt 5:16, 12:50, Rev 3:12, 11:13, 16:11, 20:9
The very highest heaven, the heaven of heavens! Dt 10:14
Jesus and the heavens ~
He descended from them. John 3:13, 31; 6:38, 42
He passed through them. Heb 4:14
He was made higher than them. Heb 7:26, 8:1, 9:24, 1 Pet 3:22, Ro 8:34
He is exalted above them ALL!
Holy Spirit and the heavens ~
He descended through them at Pentecost. 1 Pet 1:12
Angels and the heavens ~
It is their abode, they are constant in their attentions. Mt 18:10, 22:30 Rev 3:5
Paul went there! 2 Cor 12:2
It is our eternal dwelling place! 2 Cor 5:1
From it we have spiritual citizenship! Phil 3:20
There is a mid-heaven! Rev 8:13, 14:6, 19:17
Sidereal ~ of the stars. Astral.
Mt 24:29, 35 Mk 13:25, 31 Heb 11:12
There are POWERS (plural) in the HEAVENS (plural).
I was astounded by the REALMS. ASTONISHED by the revelations of His vastness!
Astonished ~ old French meaning, “out” plus “to thunder”.
To fill with sudden wonder, astound, amaze.
Heaven ~ at least one, the uncreated sphere of God’s abode! Touching us….

It melted me.
It caused me to fall in love all over again… and again… and again… with the body of Christ.
Acts 26:13
I saw a light from heaven,
above and surpassing the brightness of the sun,
flashing round about me…
and them which journeyed with me..
and when we were all fallen to the earth I heard a voice….
Kiss us, Lord Jesus.
Kiss us as a family.
Kiss us as those on a journey together.
Kiss us as You want us to kiss each other.
Let us love one another, Lord, just as You love us.

Heavenly ~ the visible heavens. (which implies there are invisible heavens.)
Realm ~ a kingdom, an empire, a domain, a sphere, a land, a region, an authority.
Authority ~ the power, the right, the title, the jurisdiction, the influence, the control, the command, the lordship, the divine right.
Gen 1:26… we are given complete authority over the things of the earth.
Born to boss, designed to dictate, grown to govern, bear the crown, wear the pants, have the upper hand, rule the roost, behind the wheel, pull the strings, throw your weight around, call the shots, lay down the law, have things under your thumb, be at the helm, carry the ball, be in the driver’s seat, with a stroke of a pen, sit in the saddle, and…
hold in the hollow (or palm) of your hand.
Behold, I have indelibly imprinted (tattooed a picture of) you on the palm of each of My hands.
Isaiah 49:16
I am brought back to the holes in my own palms. Burned there by His coals of fire.

What would it be like, to have increased vision? Vision so intensified that I could see a drop of sin.
A tad of disease, a microbe of germ? What if I had eyes to see my own jealousies? Fears? Prides? Angers? Intimidations? Greeds? Judgments? How quickly would I eliminate them, if I could see them approaching in their tiny, micro biotic state!
Stage 1. A shower of blood encompasses me, encircles me. As long as I stay in that REALM, I am safe. There is much debris and garbage at my feet. All sins possible, all temptations refused, all manor of sicknesses and disease with which the enemy has tried to capture me ~ all pummeled at my feet. Powerless and pointless under His Blood Veil.
Stage 2. I sin and don’t confess. When I refuse to see my sin for what it is, it becomes a tiny pipe-like structure, protruding from me beyond the Blood Veil. The enemy, who surrounds me and is constant in his search for my weakness, is looking for these entries. Any small opening will entice and empower him to destroy me. He sends his forces, through this “tube” of sin, made of my own rebellion. This “tube” protects the enemy from the Blood Veil.
Stage 3. I confess and repent. He releases a tsunami throughout that pipeline! The torrent sweeps the enemy completely out and the pipe itself disintegrates. Yet.. any evil that actually entered me may leave deposits. Deposits of Consequences. “DOC”. For those I need the mercy of God, and increased faith and trust that He will, indeed, see me through. I must know, without wavering, that He is a Father of Blessing, not cursing ~ of Love, not hatred.
Stage 4. The development of “DOC” feels wrong. It is uncomfortable theology and not what I’m used to. But truth remains, that if I do not live perfect, as He tells me to do ~

I can count on spending considerable time dealing with “DOC”. (Deposits of Consequence).
Which is ok. I am, myself, growing though process, into maturity.
Most valuable thing about dealing with “DOC”, is that I learn exactly what kind of Father I have.
Then my faith explodes. Then my vision increases. In this condition, I begin to see the enemy coming well before his attack is launched. And I remain steadfastly within the Blood Veil, where I am safe. The Blood Veil flowing protectively around me whispers a tune, hums a melody…
Perfect love casts out fear.
Be ye perfect, even as I AM Perfect.
Stage 5. There is no fear in love. Dread does not exist!
Full-grown love (complete and perfect) turns fear out of doors
and expels every trace of terror!
For fear brings with it the thought of punishment,
and so he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love.
He is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection. 1 John 4:18
This love then, brings us into the REALMS of Heaven…
Just as Paul’s experience was shared with those who journeyed with him, so is ours.
Absorb that! We are on a journey together!! Together!
So… let’s truly BLESS…
those who have journeyed with us in the past..
and those who journey with us today..
and those who will journey with us tomorrow…
The realms of God are realms of extreme and unbelievable love.
We need to have that for each other. We are on a journey, together.
But I urge and entreat you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in perfect harmony and full agreement in what you say, and that there be no dissensions or factions or divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your common understanding and in your opinions and judgments.
1 Cor 1:10
